song for the soul
A thousand sparkling stars upon a midnight summer sky.
The majesty and wonder of the ocean's endless tide.
And the more I see, the more I can't explain
How the One who set the world in place
Could even know my name,
And I'm amazed, I'm so amazed.
How great You are, how small I am
How awesome is Your mighty hand
And I am captured by the wonder of it all
And I will offer all my praise
With all my heart for all my days
How great You are, how great you are,
How great You are.
A million snowflakes gently fall yet no two are the same.
The colours fill the canvas of the seasons as they change.
And everywhere I look I see Your hand.
Why You would love someone like me, I'll never understand.
And I'm amazed, I'm so amazed
How great You are, how small I am
How awesome is Your mighty hand
And I am captured by the wonder of it all
And I will offer all my praise
With all my heart for all my days
How great You are, how great you are,
How great You are.

I was on the track-mill, running.
It was like business as usual: Running my lungs out.
Just that today there was, just, an additional factor, something in addition to the norm.
I was too running my heart and mind out.
I was once again tracing, tracing the path of history.
It was for the upteenth time, but each time i thought, each feeling was different.
Tommorow is Friday.
Judgement hour is soon approaching.
15.5 hours more and ticking down... tick tock tock tock.
"But my grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in your weakness"
2 Corinthian 12:9
Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by;
Trusting Him whate’er befall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all
Because you see the Master plan from high above.
Because I'm giving you the wheel.
I'm letting go.

The past two weeks have been quite evetnful in various ways.
It started with Chad's return to Korea. More ways than one, he has made a deep impression in our hearts someway and somehow.
It ended with well, the humbling feeling of cleaning the railings once again.
During this period, there seems to be so many questions swirling in my mind, but so little answers.
I remember a JSS song:
"Have a little faith in me, the size of a little mustard seed
Have a little faith in me, and see what i can do for you"
left.right.up.down.
you follow your heart.
All things work for our goodThough sometimes we don't see how they couldStruggles that break our hearts in two Sometimes blind us to the truthOur Father knows what best for usHis ways are not our ownSo when your pathway grows dim And you just don't see Him Remember you're never aloneGod is too wise to be mistaken God is too good to be unkind So when you don't understand When you don't see His plan When you can't trace His hand Trust His heart

Friendship is one that is immortal and everlasting, if we only know how to nuture it.
This New Year's Day was not one to forget.
At the stroke of midnght, i was on the bus which was rather unique experience.
Nonetheless, the ride reminded me of his graciousness and mercy once again.
I thank you Lord for my special friends.

Once again, it's that time of the year.
Question: What would make a good reflection?
Time and tide waits for no man. But the memories are here to stay.
Each year holds it's own set of trials and surprises and this year is no different.
I'm been listening to many christian songs of late and each set of lyrics, each phrase or each sentence can bring so much meaning and understanding if only we take the time to dwell upon it. Perhaps this is what 'revelation' means, when the circumtances of life create a new synthesis of thought.
To be rebuke none the less a very humbling feeling.
Everyone needs compassionA love that's never failingLet mercy fall on meEveryone needs forgivenessA kindness of a SaviorThe hope of nationsNo one can fully understand personal thoughts but the father can. To be time and time again given a reminder that his presence is there is truly amazing and comforting.
2008 alone has brought about so many learning curves and pointers. To sometimes fully understand the basis of the occurrence is in itself a feat.
Reasons.
Because human nature tends to search for concrete answers and evidence, The most common word: Why?
Why? signals a degree of unbelieve and doubt.
Something which i've been guilty of nonetheless.
SaviorHe can move the mountainsMy God is Mighty to saveHe is Mighty to saveForever, Author of salvationHe rose and conquered the graveJesus conquered the graveFor all that has happen this past year.
Friendships made. Friendships strengthen.
Unity is what binds us together.
We are one. But not truely one.
Youth Conference has always held a very special place in my heart and it would continue to hold that very spot.
It's always a time of chastisment that speaks to your soul, that tells you that your not fine on your own strength and ability.
All you need to do is just to simply come back
So take me as You find meAll my fears and failuresFill my life againI give my life to followEverything i believe inNow i surrenderShine your light and let the whole world seeWe're singing for the glory of the risen King...Savior
He can move the mountains
My God is Mighty to save
He is Mighty to save
Forever, Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the graveThe best reflection comes from the heart, the soul.
Interaction between Man and God.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.” - Isaiah 55:8-92009: This time Lord, you take the lead, you take the wheel.
Let it this time be your way, not mine, not anyone else.
Let this upcoming year be truely different.
This is redemption's story
That the Lord of all the earth
Came to die to bear the sting of sin away
Come, all who hear this story
And call on Jesus's name
And then you'll find that life
will never ever be the same
